AIDS, polymer-painted rope, polymer, cotton duck, 86"x96"x14"

This piece is inspired by the death of a co-worker whose parents turned away from him. The white ropes, symbolic of death, hang over the red and blue ropes, wiping them out. Using a grid method of music notation (see MUSIC), for placement of the ropes, the music used were American gospel songs sung at his funeral.
